Which joint supplement is best for my dog with hip dysplasia?
I recently discovered that my 2 year old pit has Sheba hip dysplasia in both hips which is worse on a scale of 1-10, and the other 3. The vet said would be a good Glucosamine Chondroitin joint supplement give. I read a lot of good reviews on this. I found another supplement called Glyco-Flex, which also had good reviews. What do you recommend? I to call our vet tomorrow to see which you like best. Tramadol had to obtain for her too. So is the cheapest place to get these pills and supplements, as it is something Saba will take for the rest of his life. Thanks for any help given! Also, if your dog has hip dysplasia so that works best for babies of your skin? My girl is 40 lbs.
The Glyco-Flex line of supplements is very good quality. I use one of their products with my dog and my mom used her kennel show. If your dog has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, I would recommend Glyco-Flex III, which is what I use with my own dog. This has most of the glucosamine of any product in the line of Glyco-Flex (1000mgs per tablet) and also has the same amount of MSM, a natural anti-inflammatory; PSGAGs (mussels perna) and various antioxidants. I had started my dog on it at 3 when he was diagnosed with bilateral patellar dislocation. She had X-rays 8 and had not yet developed arthritis in the knees. If you go to the website VetriScience, which can read the clinical studies on the effectiveness of Glyco-Flex. If hesitate to use this product, synovia G3 is very similar.
